I’d like to help translate the program to Italian. Is that possible, and how would I go about it?16 January 2012 at 12:46 #312
I’ll put you down for Italian then
How it will work is that I need to go through the app and remove all hard-coded strings. Right now I’ve been a bit sloppy with them
I’ll give you an XML file that looks a bit like this:
<string name="app_name">Page Turner</string>
<string name="app_desc">Page Turner is a syncing e-book reader that allows you to sync your reading progress over multiple devices.</string>
<string name="open_file">Open ePub file</string>
You can just translate the actual text (not the keys! ) into Italian.
I’m going to do the Dutch translation myself and use that to make sure I find all the strings. After that I’ll e-mail you about the Italian version. Thanks for participating!18 August 2012 at 13:10 #692
I translate your app to Arabic language and I sent the files to your email.
I’m not able to upload the files her.
Thanks a lot… for the great work…9 February 2013 at 15:35 #4513
Noticed a type in the german translation – it says ‘Lüschen’ instead of ‘Löschen’ to delete something.
Where can I get the xml-File to correct this?
Many thanks!9 February 2013 at 16:02 #4525
The German translation is here:
If you’re familiar with Github you can fork my repo and send me a pull request, else just e-mail me the updated file and I’ll make sure you get the proper credit for the check-in.9 February 2013 at 17:00 #4532
I’ve attached the corrected file – just removed 2 typos and the ‘not translated’ comment, as it’s not correct – everything in the file is already translated
I’ve saved it as UTF8 with BOM.9 February 2013 at 19:04 #4533
Hi again – didn’t work to attach the file – so I’ve sent it by email to you.
